Scam victims take advantage of flat-rate tax cuts ！.

In the Katsuura Police Station area, there has been a scam in which a person pretends to be an employee of the tax office and says, "You need to apply for the flat-rate tax reduction by the end of the day. The fraudulent tax reductions were then transferred to a bank account designated by the perpetrator at an ATM.
Nationwide, there have been phone calls concerning the flat-rate tax reduction, in which the caller attempts to obtain bank account information and manipulate the ATM to get the caller to pay for the tax refund.
The IRS, the tax office, or city hall will never call or email you to ask for your personal information or to operate an ATM in connection with a flat-rate tax reduction or benefits. If you receive a phone call or email that you do not recognize, talk to a family member or the police.
